If you are new to drawing, you want to start by visualizing your picture. Don't worry about the details, the most important part is getting everything in the correct place. Make sure the proportions are correct. You can do this by using circles and guidelines and build up a general shape of what you are drawing. Compare the segments of your drawing, as everything is relative to each other (example- the arm my this character is 1 head long, and the body is 1½ heads long) You may add details to finish.
