Because the Queen of Changelings is best as a filly (or nymph?)
I always thought she looked like she belonged to some kind of enchanted forest of some sort, so I tried to match it a bit.

Vector Tiem!
Took about 6-7 days. Just kept adding on detail and couldn't stop. I was just going to do simple colors, but I guess not.

Completed in Illustrator CS6. I must say I love the 64-bit version, I was able to actually export it directly.

EDIT: Decided to re-upload at 2× resolution from 3300 × 2550 to 6600 × 5100px

OK, this is too cute not to fav. I'd love to see them bring back Chrysalis and explore her backstory. Probably not born completely evil, but went through childhood drama that made her into the ruthless dictator she is now.
